How to Get Your Tennessee Crash Report — One Way Is Free
Tennessee crash reports are held by Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security / THP. A copy is generally available about 7 business days after the crash, and the agency charges $10 online, $4 by mail if you buy it yourself.

Use the official Tennessee crash report portal. The online fee is $10 by credit card; prepaid cards are not accepted.
Request by mail
Mail the request and $4 payment by cashier's check, money order, or personal/business check to: Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security, Financial Responsibility Division, PO Box 945, Nashville, TN 37202-0945.
Contact the investigating agency
If Tennessee Highway Patrol did not work the crash, the city police department or county sheriff that responded holds the report and releases it through its own records division.
